Balayage

One of my clients she is in high school she has blonde hair I would say a level 8 ( light blonde hair) she texted me asking if I would color her hair I said yes and she send me the picture she wants her hair to be. It was a level 4 (light brown) with gold/ caramel highlights on the bottom. What I did was at her roots I used Paul Mitchell shine color system using a 4N smudging it in the roots and combing it down to the middle so it would fade nice then I used Paul Mitchell bleach with olaplex and 20 vol so with the olaplex it diluted the 20 vol to a 10 vol. when the color was ready to wash out. I used scruples toner in caramel to giver her that golden color at the ends I left that on for about 10-15 min.
Here is the picture we used for inspiration.

This was her hair before.

This is her hair after we colored it! I loved how it turned out!

Thank you for reading!

San Francisco

Today's post is a little different from my others this one will be about Kurt & I's trip to San Francisco! Kurt for work has toppers club and kurt made it this year so we got to pick between 4 different vacation spots. We picked San Francisco and I'm so glad we did I have never been and it was super fun!
We left after work on Friday and drove to Lake Tahoe Kurt's friend was up there for the weekend so they let us stay with them for 2 nights. The first day we went on a couple of hiking trails and later Kurt went golfing with his friend. I came along and let me tell you it was so pretty!
On Sunday we headed out early to make it to the Raiders game. The game was crazy! It was so HOT people were passing out because of the heat. It was fun the Raiders won so it was a good game!
Monday we had a free day so Kurt and I did all the sight seeing we first went to the Golden Gate Bridge I was a kid in the candy store I was so excited! We stopped and took pictures we were going to ride bikes but didn't have time. Then we went and found a little beach and but our feet in the water. Then we found Lombard street and drove down it, it was so fun and crazy on how little the roads are!   After that we went to the painted Ladies houses they are so cute! I took so many pictures on this trip but you couldn't take a bad one!
Tuesday Kurt had meetings all day so all the girls went to lunch and went shopping! It was fun I got a couple of Mac lipsticks and Marc Jacobs perfume my favorite! But I was glad when Kurt got out. When the guys were done we went to China Town it was pretty cool but wasn't. Big fan of the markets. I don't like sea food and they had all there dead fish out in front and it just smelt bad! But it had cute shops I got this pretty painting of the Painted Ladies.
Wednesday was my favorite we went to Alcatraz! I love history that was always my favorite subject in school. So when I found out we were going to Alcatraz I watched so many document rays on it haha. We did the tour and when we finished we went to the gift shop and one of the old inmates was there signing his book so I had to buy the book and had him sign it. After we went to dinner with some friends and did this fun boat ride in the bay went to pier 39 and got some sour dough pizza!
Thursday Kurt played golf at this pretty golf course I went I just sit in the cart and read so it was fun and took some pictures of him playing. Then we went to the Muir Woods and hiked it was a mini redwoods so the trees were super big!
It was a fun trip we did so much! It was hard to leave but we have so many great memories!:)

1. Pureology strength cure: this stuff is like heaven on your hair! It smells so good, color safe, and makes your hair stronger. How awesome is that!
2: Paul Mitchell purple shampoo: if your a blonde like me you know how important it is to have purple shampoo. It tones your blondes so your blondes are less brassy.
3: Pureology Cleansing Conditioner: what a cleaning conditioner is it's like a shampoo and conditioner together. It cleans your hair without stripping color and it's more gental on the hair.
4: Moroccan Oil dry shampoo: I don't wash my hair everyday I wash it every 3 days so I use dry shampoo. This stuff is the best! It has 2 kinds one for light hair and one for dark. The light has a purple toner in it so it doesn't just suck up oil it also tones. For the dark tone it doesn't leave a white residue for you brunette.
5: Style Sexy hair 450 Protect: this is the best heat protectant it's a aerosol can I like it that way
because it doesn't leave the hair wet. It also has some shine in it so it makes your hair shiny & healthy looking
6:Paul Mitchell Dramatic Repair: loaded with KerActive protein this smoothes, strengthens lighten hair.
7: Redken Pillow Proof Primer: this is another heat protectant/ primer  I use this when I blow dry my hair it speeds up your drying time.
8: Redken Stay High: I have never really used mousse but this stuff is the best no joke! It's a gel to mousse so it comes out like a gel then you rub it and it turns into a mousse. This gives you amazing volume that last all day and even the next day! At the salon we can't keep it on the shelves that's how great it is!
9:  Redken Quick Dry hairspray: if you know me I love hairspray... I love this stuff it doesn't leave my hair stiff but it still gives me a great hold.
10: Paul Mitchell super skinny Serum: I have fine hair so when I wear my hair strength I have tons of fly aways this serum keeps my hair soft and with less flyaways and it doesn't weigh down my hair.

Thank you for reading! If you would like to try any of these products let me know because I would love to get them for you guys.

Balayage &short hair

I think I have short hair fever now! Tonight at work I did this cute teachers hair. She is a busy women so she wanted a more lived in style. I cut off about 6 inches of her hair & did a balayage technique to give her the lived in look.
